Lake Tahoe Resort Hotel

Likely no better place exists for a vacationing family to lay their heads near Lake Tahoe than the gorgeous Lake Tahoe Resort Hotel in the heart of South Shore.

Lake Tahoe Resort hotel suite

An outstanding family-friendly property in every regard, this lodging option is the best year round with 400 beautifully appointed two room suites.

Every stay includes a complimentary cooked-to-order breakfast with all the offerings. Omelets, bacon, sausage, potatoes, pancakes, fresh fruit, yogurts, muffins and more; this is the place to fuel up for a busy day or a day or two of leisure.

A lovely indoor heated pool and spa and an excellent fitness center with modern and well maintained equipment round out the amenities nicely.

Every evening a pleasant manager’s reception is offered with complimentary cocktails and hors d’oeuvres. Specialty drinks are offered as well at no charge. For years, my favorite has been the Cactus Bite. Kids love the Shirley Temples and other kid-friendly mock cocktails. And the way the pool is set up next to the cocktail area it allows mom and dad to enjoy a cocktail and relaxation while watching the kids and tweens swim in the pool.

One reason the Lake Tahoe Resort Hotel is such a perfect choice, is partly due to location and we all know location is everything. The Stateline casinos are literally a few steps away. Excellent dining, wonderful shopping and the lift to Heavenly Ski Resort is less than a minute away.

Literally moments from world class golfing, boating, cycling and ice skating, you can’t go wrong.

Valet parking is also offered.

Guests at Lake Tahoe Resort Hotel also receive a complimentary pass to a private beach only a few blocks away for summer beach and water fun.

As if the great locale and endless amenities are not enough, this property itself has so many nice features. It’s a great diversion from staying at a casino. With the unique grand garden atrium design the acoustics are excellent and a genuinely fabulous night’s sleep is almost guaranteed. No smoke, noise or other nuisances so commonly associated with casinos and other types of lodging are an issue, yet casinos, bars and nightlife are only yards away should you want the best of both worlds.

Lake Tahoe Resort Hotel is also very committed to protect Lake Tahoe, the largest alpine lake in North America. With a clarity of 70 feet, this means that one can see 70 feet down into crystal clear waters. Annually, the residents and visitors of Lake Tahoe work hard to maintain that clarity and to help keep Lake Tahoe pristine for future generations. Lake Tahoe Resort Hotel is the leader in this community in hotel environmental sustainability, continually striving to protect natural resources and minimizing their carbon footprint. A mountain resort nestled in the beautiful High Sierra, they have implemented innovative, cost-effective programs to reduce energy consumption and to continue to be environmentally friendly. Continuously consulting with environmental and energy-efficiency experts has helped them to analyze and develop opportunities as a hospitality leader in environmental sustainability. They continue to partner with hotel visitors to keep the planet and Lake Tahoe beautiful for future generations.

We have stayed at numerous Embassy Suites properties and love their product, however this particular Lake Tahoe property continues to be, by far, our most favorite. It is consistently well managed, clean, meticulously maintained and a delight to visit year after year.

There really is no better lodging option no matter what season you decide to stay. Staying at Lake Tahoe Resort Hotel is great for any vacationing family and good for the planet too.
